On January 31, OnePlus is making some changes to the naming scheme of its mid-range Nord series. The company is reportedly planning to replace the OnePlus Nord 2 with the OnePlus Nord 2T. Sources Yogesh Brar said the new "T" branded phones will be announced in India between April and May.
The source also revealed some important information about the smartphone. According to Brar, the price of the smartphone will be between 30000 Indian rupees (about 2547 yuan) and 40000 Indian rupees (about 3396 yuan). 4 As a result, the smartphone is priced similarly to its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 2.
OnePlus Nord 2 T Specifications
According to the source, the OnePlus Nord 2T is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip, with up to 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of on-board storage. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The smartphone will run OxygenOS 12, which is based on Android 12, right out of the box.
When it comes to cameras, the OnePlus Nord 2T will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The OnePlus Nord 2 T will have a 4500 mAh battery that supports 80 W SuperVOOC charging, the same charging technology used by the OnePlus 10 Pro.
Meanwhile, OnePlus will release another Nord phone, but it will be available in the Indian market before the Nord 2T. If the rumors are true, the company will release OnePlus Nord CE 2 in February, which will succeed Nord CE. According to Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be priced between 25000 Indian rupees (about 2122.5 yuan) and 30000 Indian rupees (about 2547 yuan).

The smartphone will feature three camera modules on the back, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 16-megapixel camera with a hole is used to capture selfies and video calls.
The new OnePlus Nord 2 CE comes with a 4500 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 65 W. It will offer Android 12 out of the box.
