Analyst: Apple iPhone 15 series will be mass-produced in August, Pro Max models will increase in price

According to news on July 6, according to the forecast of Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Technology Research, Apple will begin mass production of the iPhone 15 series in August 2023. Apple's iPhone 14 series grew by 12%, showing Apple's confidence in market demand.

However, Jeff Pu also warned that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could cost more than the $1,099 starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Unlike last year, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have some exclusive features rather than being identical to the 6.1-inch Pro.

For past generations, the Pro and Pro Max have been identical in specs aside from screen size (and battery capacity). But this year that will change. Current expectations are that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have exclusive use of the new periscope zoom lens, making it the best camera system yet. The periscope lens will give the iPhone a huge boost in optical zoom range, which is expected to jump from the current maximum of 3x to about 6x.
